| shikha | Re: WB JEE Main Exam Date West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) is a state level entrance exam for the admission to various UG courses in medical, engineering, architectural, technological and pharmaceutical courses through government and private colleges in West Bengal The WBJEE exam 2016 was conducted on 20th July, 2016 The result for Medical Exam will be declared on 27th August 2016. WBJEE exam 2016 date –20th July, 2016 WBJEE exam Eligibility- Candidates should have passed or appeared the 10+2 examination from state or central board of education. The candidates must be obtained minimum 45% marks (40% in case of reserved categories) in 12th examination. For admission to Jadhavpur University, candidates must have minimum 60% marks (55% in case of reserved categories) in 12th examination. The candidates should have physics, chemistry and math/biology/biotechnology in 12th examination. The candidates should be completed the age of 17 years For mining engineering, candidates should not exceed the age of 25 years The applicant should have domicile of West Bengal. The applicant must be Indian citizen. Exam Pattern There has negative marking with the deduction of 25% of full marks for each wrong answer. The examination was of 3 hours duration. The language of examination was English only.
