| shikha | Re: Tiss ic The Intelligence Community-Centers of Academic Excellence (or IC-CAE) is a highly competitive, and congressionally mandated program funded by the Department of Defense The focus of the TISS Center for Intelligence and Security Studies will be to develop new courses that will provide a deeper understanding of the intelligence process and its relevance to security. Academic Requirements Students enrolled in programs that are not directly partnered with the IC-CAE, but who are interested in pursuing the Student Scholar distinction should work with their campus’ team lead to develop an appropriate set of academic requirements. Two courses in security studies One course in intelligence Choice of: 6 credit hours above General Education Standard in a foreign language 6 credit hours in philosophy, Geographic Information Science and/ or statistics GPA Requirements 3.00 Required Activities Full participation in a total of 2 simulations, workshops, conferences, or field trips with a security studies/and or intelligence focus. Attendance each year at at least 2 lectures, panel discussions, or other events with a security studies/and or intelligence focus.
