Know the syllabus
Improve Writing Skills
Revise two times before exam
Focus on ecology, environment, art and culture:
Solve mock test papers
Get your basics clear
Devote good time in preparing for CSAT paper

Exam Pattern:

Preliminary Examination

Two compulsory papers of 200 marks each in the Civil Services Prelims Exam.

Both the question papers are of the objective type (multiple choice questions)

Duration :
Two hours each paper

English Comprehension & English Précis

(The level of paper would be Matriculation/ Xth standard level)
