It is also one of the toughest exam just like IAS, IPS, IIT etc. The exam will be conducted in two parts first is the written and second is the interview. Those candidate who have done BE/B.Tech can apply. 1) Civil Engineering 2) Mechanical Engineering 3) Electrical Engineering 4) Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Section I - objective types questions Section II – conventional (essay) type questions papers. Total marks distribution: The exam consist of total of 1200 marks in which the written test consist of 1000 marks and interview consist of 200 marks. Out of 1000 marks 600 marks will be for the objective test and 400 marks will be for the conventional test. Part I:- It consist of two sections. Section I consist of objective type of question and section II consist of Conventional papers. Part II:-Test carrying 200 marks. Here is an general description of how 1000 marks are distributed: Category:-MECHANICAL ENGINEERING Section 1: I—Objective Papers Subject: General Ability Test (Part A: General English) (Part B: General Studies) 2 hrs 200 Mechanical Engineering Paper I 2 hrs 200 Mechanical Engineering Paper II 2 hrs 200 Section 2: II–Conventional Papers Mechanical Engineering Paper I 3 hrs 200 Mechanical Engineering Paper II 3 hrs 200 TOTAL 1000 The general ability test consist of 2hrs: 200 marks Electronics engineering paper I: 200 marks Electronics engineering paper II: 200 marks Negative Marking: For each wrong answer 0.33 of the marks assigned to that question will be thus deducted. |
