The City and Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra is a city planning organization created by the Government of Maharashtra.

CIDCO was formed on 17 March 1970 under the Indian Companies Act of 1956.

Kamothe is a node of Navi Mumbai developed and maintained by CIDCO.

Kamothe is located on the Sion Panvel Highway. It is the third node after Panvel and Khandeshwar towards Mumbai.
