I am providing instructions to reach at campus of TIFR Mumbai: Reach at TIFR by Air: Mumbai is well connected with Airline Service. It is an International Airport of India. As per my information there are many Airlines to reach at Mumbai from all Airports in India. From Mumbai Airport, you will hire Pre-Paid Taxi to reach at TIFR Campus. You will have to say Navy Nagar at the pre-paid taxi counter. You can also call Meru/Mega cabs. Taxi Charges: Rs. 280-400 depending on ac/non-ac and regular cab or Meru type of cabs. Night Charges: 1.5 times the day charges Reach at TIFR by Rail: If you come at Mumbai by Central Railway, you will reach at Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST/VT) Mumbai, the Institute is 7 Kms. from this Railway Station. It is nearest Railway Station from TIFR. If you come at Mumbai by Western Railway, take a local train from Mumbai Central/Dadar/Bandra to come to Churchgate Railway Station. From these Railway Stations you can travel by Bus or Taxi. Reach at TIFR by Local Transport: Mumbai is well serviced by metro bus, rail and taxi. From Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus, taxis are available round the clock The fare is approx. Rs 60/- in daytime. From Mumbai Central, Taxi Fare is approx. Rs. 100/- in daytime. From Churchgate Station, Taxi Fair is approx. Rs. 50/- in daytime. Night Charges: 1.5 times the day charges. From Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus, you can take BEST bus route numbers 3, 6, 11, 125 all of which terminate at Navy Nagar.
