I am sharing the information from the official website of Ministry of Human Resource Development. The Union Minister of Human Resource Development Shri Kapil Sibil presided over the function along with the chair person and the Board of Governors of Nit’s. The proposal for admission to UG programs in Science and Engineering formulated by Dr.T Ramasami committee was taken into consideration. The committee also approved the introduction of NIT Merit awards for student’s ranked top in AIEEE examination. The council resolved various policy problems related with the faculty, Non faculty staffs in respect to career advanced scheme for teaching staffs. |
