| Arvind Kumar | Re: IIT Entrance Exam Eligibility for NRI Indian Institute of Technology Madras offer admission in B tech course for NRI / foreign national students . here I am giving you information about required eligibility for NRI students : Admission Criteria (i) For undergraduate students : You must be a Foreign nationals [Foreign passport holder or have either Person of Indian Origin (PIO) OR Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) For admission you have to passed JEE mains examination organized by IIT colleges. You have to passed the final examination under the 10+2 system or its equivalent (or) a pass in the three year diploma in Engineering are eligible to appear in JEE (Main). All the foreign nationals should appear and qualify in JEE (Advanced) also. Payment of Fees All selected foreign nationals will be required to pay fee as follows: (a) US $ 2000 (tuition fees) + US $ 261 (towards one time fee, deposits and application cost) for SAARC Countries (b) US$ 4000 (tuition fees) + US $ 261 for other Countries for full time students (c) Hotel fee : Rs. 17,000/-(approx.) per semester At the time of admission You should have valid Residential permit in India granted for studies or a Student Visa for the prescribed duration of the concerned programme.
