As per as my knowledge, you are not Eligible for ICET Exam while doing B.Tech, basically students who have completed engineering can apply for this exam. Here are the details of it:

Eligibility:
Eligibility for MBA:

The applicant should have passed recognized Bachelors Degree Examination of minimum three years duration with at least 50% marks

For MCA:
The applicant should have passed recognized Bachelors Degree examination of minimum three years durationwith at least 50% marks in the qualifying examination with Mathematics at 10+2 level.

Last date of submission of forms Friday, April 4, 2014
Last date for Registration and submission of online application forms.(with a late fee of Rs. 500) Tuesday, April 15, 2014

Last date for Registration and submission of online application forms.( with late fee of Rs. 2,000) Friday, April 25, 2014

Last date for Registration and submission of online application forms.( with late fee of Rs. 5,000) Friday, May 6, 2014
