Eligibility For purposes of admission to the Ph.D. programme a candidate should have obtained a Master’s Degree in the discipline in which he / she wants to register for Ph.D. programme with a minimum of 50% mark A candidate who has qualified for the Master’s Degree or M.Phil. Degree in the faculties of Arts, Humanities, Commerce, Management and Sciences of this University or any University recognized by the University Grants Commissionor Association of Indian Universities. Engineering qualification will not be accepted as eligibility for Ph.D. in Management Candidates, satisfying the eligibility criteria can register for PhD programmes in Arts, Humanities, Commerce, Management and Sciences. DURATION OF RESEARCH A candidate who has registered for Ph.D. programme on Part time External Registration with Post graduate qualification shall work for a minimum period of four years and a maximum period of six years.
