Here is its news: According to Learnhub portal, “Hindu college, the top notch college of Delhi University is all set to start a new add-on programme. The college has decided to start this add-on programme in Actuarial Science. The college has become first Delhi University's college to offer this most sought after programme. Hindu college will offer this course in collaboration with an insurance firm. The acting Principal of college, Pradyumn Kumar, said, "The idea is to increase the students' employability in the insurance sector." The minimum eligibility criteria to apply for the exam is a candidate must have attained the age of 18 years at the time of admission and have scored at least 85% marks in maths in Class 10+2. The college has not declared any upper age limit. Graduates and post graduate candidates are also eligible to apply for the exam. For them minimum qualification is at least 55% marks in maths or math related subjects in their graduation or post graduation. Kumar, said, "The faculty will be from within the college and outside. The students will intern with Metlife." |
