| shikha | Re: National Talent Search Examination Uttarakhand Uttarakhand National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is conducted by State Council of Educational Research & Training (UK), Dehradun for the class X. The students who qualify stage I of NTSE will be eligible to appear in National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) stage II to be conducted by NCERT, New Delhi. Uttarakhand NTSE 2016 exam will be conduct on 06 Nov 2016 Eligibility- All students of Class X studying in recognized schools are eligible to appear for the stage – I examination, conducted by the State. There will be no domicile restriction. Students registered under Open Distance Learning (ODL) will also be eligible for scholarship, provided the student is below the age of 18 years They must have passed Class IX annual examination securing at least 65% of marks or equivalent (55% for reserved categories) Exam pattern Details regarding questions paper are as follows : Paper I: Part I is confined to Mental Ability Test (MAT) Consisting of 50 compulsory questions Part II is Language Ability Test Hindi or English (LAT) consisting of 50 compulsory questions Paper II : Is confined to Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) consisting of 100 compulsory questions from eight subjects (History, Geography, Civics, Economics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics) Each question carries 1 (one) mark. There is no Negative Marking. Important dates- Last date for submission of application form at Block Education office 08 Sep 2016 Date of examination NTS (1st Stage) 06 Nov 2016 |
