| shikha | Re: UPSC IES Application Form Online The last date to fill up the online application form for the recruitment opened for the post of IES (Indian Economic Service) 2016 by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) was 12/02/2016. Nationality A candidate must be either :— (a) a citizen of India; or (b) a subject of Nepal; or (c) a subject of Bhutan; or (d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India; or (e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India : Provided that one belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) & (e) above is a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility is issued by the Government of India. One in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary to admitted to the exam but the offer of appointment may be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued by the Government of India Minimum Educational Qualifications : One must have obtained a Post-Graduate Degree in Economics/Applied Economics/ Business Economics/Econometrics from a recognized University by the Central Government from time to time. Age Limit: One must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st August, 2016.   |
