| shikha | Re: CBSE JEE Main Cut Off The online Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main was conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on April 9-10. The exam was scheduled between 9:30 am and 12:30 am. In the JEE main exam each section consisted of 30 questions. A total of 90 questions, carrying 360 marks were to be solved within the stipulated time. Four marks will be awarded for every right answer, whereas for a wrong answer, one mark will be deducted. Expected cut off: Common Merit List (CML): 120-125 Other Backward Class (OBC): 80-85 SC/ST: 50-55 Last year’s JEE Main Cutoff: Category Cut-off Score Common Merit List (CML) 115 Other Backward Class (OBC - NCL) 74 Scheduled Caste (SC) 53 Scheduled Tribe (ST) 47 JEE Main Cutoff was announced by CBSE on April 27. The cutoff for general category is 100. Cutoff of JEE Main is the minimum score that is required by candidates for appearing in the second stage of JEE, i.e. JEE Advanced that was conducted on May 22 for admissions to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) across the country.
