BPSC Exam : Eligibility Criteria : Educational Qualification : Graduation degree or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized university. Age Limit : 19 to 40 years of age. Upper age relaxation as per government rules. BPSC Examination Pattern : Preliminary Examination Main Examination Personal Interview BPSC Examination Pattern Preliminary Examination – Multiple choices for each questions. Total 150 questions each of one marks Total marks : 150. Duration :Two hours . 2) Main Examination (i) Written Examination and (ii) Personal Interview Written Examination (i) Hindi (ii) General Studies (iii) First Optional Paper and (iv) Second Optional Paper Total marks assigned to Written Examination is 1200. Hindi – The applicants will have to obtain at least 30 marks in Hindi. No extra marks will be counted in the total marks. General Studies–GS (General Studies) is divided in two categories – GS Paper I and GS Paper II 200 is the maximum marks for each GS paper. The timing assigned to them is three hours individually. Both the section of GS is further divided into three sections.
