Re: IELTS CRS Points

International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is designed to assess the language ability of candidates who need to study or work where English is used as the language of communication.

IELTS is required for entry to university in the UK and other countries.

Comprehensive Ranking System

The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) is a points-based system that is used to assess and score a candidate’s profile to rank them in the Express Entry pool.

The CRS will assess the profile information candidates submit, including:

skills,
work experience,
language ability,
education and other factors.

Comprehensive Ranking System formula

All Express Entry candidates will be given a score out of 1,200, based on the four parts of the Comprehensive Ranking System formula:

Skills and experience factors
Spouse or common-law partner factors
Skills transferability

Additional points for those with a nomination from a province or territory or a valid job offer

IELTS Score:

The IELTS 9-band scale

You will be given a score from 1 to 9 for each part of the test –

Listening
Reading
Writing and Speaking

The average produces your overall band score.

You can score whole (e.g., 5.0, 6.0, 7.0) or half (e.g., 5.5, 6.5, 7.5) bands in each part of the test.

IELTS CRS Points

I am planning to give the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) and heard about the CRS point scale. Can you provide me details about the IELTS CRS point along with Comprehensive Ranking System formula so I can calculate my IELTS Score according to that?
