The entrance test for JEMAT is scheduled was held on September 25 in pen-paper mode for admission into the management programmes of the various participating Institutes.

No specific syllabus has been designed for appearing in the entrance examination. The candidates are generally examined under three sections- English, Mathematics and Logical Reasoning.

JEMAT Entrance Exam consists of questions from:

English
Mathematics and
Logical Reasoning

Exam Pattern:

The duration of JEMAT II is 120 minutes i.e. 2 hours.
The exam will contain a total of 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
These 100 MCQs will be distributed into 3 sections, which are – General English, Mathematics, and Logical Reasoning.
Each correct answer will contain 1 mark.
For each wrong answer, the candidates will be penalized 1/4th of the mark.
The Mathematics and General English section will have 40 questions each.
The Logical Reasoning section will contain 20 questions

JEMAT syllabus:

English – To prepare for this section, the candidates can read story books, novels, poetry, to prepare for the comprehension passage.
The candidates can practice synonyms, antonyms, learn meanings of new words to strengthen the vocabulary, usage of proper grammar, etc.

Mathematics – For this topic, the candidates can go for the basic concepts of Mathematics, Algebra, Geometry, Statistics and Trigonometry.

Logical Reasoning – This is a tricky section and to prepare for this part, the candidates are required to practice hard.
The candidates can practice the Find the odd one, coding and decoding, data interpretation, identifying strong arguments and weak arguments, series, true & false, syllogism, data sufficiency, and statements & conclusions.
