This kind of examinations is generally known as civil service examinations. 2. This examination is conducted by Union Service Public Commission (UPSC) 3. Get through a civil service is not an easy task; if you make it then you can be proud of yourself for getting through IPS exam as it is respected to be an honour to be an IPS. 4. The candidates must be an Indian / subject of Nepal / Bhutan. 5. The candidates must be a graduate. 6. The candidate’s age must be more than 21 years & less than 30 years of age. 7. The candidate must be physically fit.
