A minimum of 55% marks or CGPA of 5.5 on a 10 point scale in the qualifying examination (50% marks or CGPA of 5.0 on a 10 point scale for SC/ST candidates). PhD Admission process Selection of eligible candidates is made through written test and interview. Written test is based on the topics covered under qualifying degree. In interview, candidates can expect questions from the proposed research area. Those with adequate score in UGC NET/GATE/SLET are exempted from the written test.
