| shikha | Re: BITSAT Merchant Navy TMI-BITS Entrance Exam is conducted by the Tolani Maritime Institute & Birla Institute of Technology and Science to select candidates for admission in- B.Sc Marine Engineering and B.Sc Nautical Technology TMI-BITS Eligibility Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) or its equivalent with at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (P C M), and At least 50% marks in English either in Class X or Class XII Age Limits- Male candidates born on or after 1st September 1995 are eligible to apply for the 2017 batch. There is a two year age relaxation for female candidates Sex- Both sexes are eligible for taking this exam without discrimination. Only unmarried candidates will be considered. Physical Fitness- The candidate has to meet the physical fitness standards to qualify for admission. Candidates for the B.S. Nautical Technology programme must have 6/6 vision in both eyes. TMI BITS Pattern Candidates short listed on the basis of their PCM marks in +2 classes are called for online test in TMI center. Based on the online test marks students are short listed for interview and medical during the same visit. Online Test Online TMI SAT consists of multiple choice, objective questions covering Physics, Chemsitry, Mathematics, English, Logic and analytical problem solving. The test is designed to evaluate candidates’ problem solving skills, reasoning skills, language skills, general knowledge, subject knowledge, aptitude and personality traits. |
