The subjects for the examination of taxation Inspector are: General Intelligence 120 marks General English 80 marks Arithmetical Ability 80 marks General Awareness 120 marks Instruction for Exam: Questions for all the subjects will be of "Objective Type". Candidates will be required to qualify in particular subject separately Candidates who qualify in all four subjects will be eligible for being called for personal interview which holds 100 marks Syllabus : General Intelligence: Contains questions of both verbal and non-verbal type and arithmetical computations and their analytical functions Analogies, similarities and differences, space visualization & problem solving, analysis & judgement, decision making &visual memory, arithmetic reasoning & verbal and figure classification, and relationships General English: It depends on the vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms etc, as well as comprehension of a passage. Arithmetical Ability: Question will be designed on fundamental arithmetical operations ,ratio and proportion, average estimation, rounding numbers, use of tables and graphs, mensuration time and distance. General Awareness: It ask about the Candidates general awareness of the environment around him and to Society, current events and of such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspects expected of the culture of India in history, culture, geography, economic scene, general polity and scientific research. |
