CAT exam 2016 was conducted on 4th December, 2016 CAT Important dates- Start Date of Online Application 8th August, 2016 Last date to submit the application form 27th September, 2016 (Extended) Correction window 1st to 5th October 2016 Admit Card Download Date 18th October, 2016 CAT 2016 Exam Date 4th December, 2016 Result Announcement Date Second week of January, 2017 CAT Eligibility Criteria Candidates must have passed the graduation degree in any stream. Candidates must have secured the marks at least 50% or equivalent to CGPA (45% in case of SC/ST and Differently Abled). Candidates appearing graduation can also apply for the CAT exam CAT Exam Pattern CAT will be conducted in two sessions on one day. The duration of the paper CAT 2016 exam will be of 180 minutes. The paper will be composed of 100 question. The questions asked will be based on logical reasoning & data interpretation, verbal ability & Reading Comprehension and quantitative ability. The examination will be held online mode only i..e (CBT). Each correct answer will be rewarded with 3 marks. Each incorrect answer will be punished with 1 mark deduction and no mark will be provided to questions that are not answered. Candidates will be allotted exactly 60 minutes for answering questions in each section.
