Here I am providing you information about the IES exams :

IES Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualifications :
You Should have Degree in any one branch of following
• Electrical Engineering
• Electronics & Communications Engineering
• Civil Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
or equivalent degree from recognized universities.
• M.Sc. degree or equivalent with Wireless Communication, Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering as a special subject is also acceptable for certain posts.

Age Limits :
You should Not be less than 21 years and not more than 30 years as on August 1st on year of conduct of examination ( upper age limit relaxable for SCs/STs,OBCs and certain others )

01. For smooth and reliable operation of an amplifier using BJT, it is necessary that the
circuit must be properly designed from the point of view of bias stabilization, because.
1. Reverse saturation current ICOincreases with rise in temperature.
2. VBEdecreases with rise in temperature.
3. hFEor bchanges with change of temperature and replacement of the transistor.
4. hFE or bchanges with change in collector supply voltage.

02. Intense magnetic field may be produced in a coil by using a

(d) Type – II superconductor with a large number of turns but limiting the current
density below a critical value.
