| shikha | Re: ITBP Recruitment in Madurai Recruit Training Centre, Sivagangai of ITBPF or Indo Tibetan Border Police Force started functioning in 2011 in Madurai, and later shifted to own campus at Illupaikudi. Training Activities:- Training imparted by RTC Sivagangai [i] Basic Training for GD Constable. [ii] Basic Training other than GD Cadre. [iii] Any other basic or in-services courses on need basis. Conduct of Training As per procedure Dte Gen approved syllabus is being followed. In advance of any course a co-ordination meeting held by the DIG in which the entire syllabus of the course is discussed. Training is planned accordingly and various lectures/topics are distributed to respective wing. Similarly Adm. Support also reviewed in advance. i. The block syllabus, detailed syllabus is prepared in advance. ii. Based on that weekly programmes circulated. iii. Classes allotted as per specialization. iv. Every topics lesson plans are prepared and those are strictly followed. v. The training Staff, who has aptitude to be an instructor, only allowed to take class vi. During training senior officers and senior instructors closely monitor short comings/ deficiencies. vii. Thereafter, the same are pointed out by the Training Officer in his daily evening briefing to training staff. viii. Advice/ requisite inputs are given to rectify short comings. ix. On completion of training, proper feedback from trainees being obtained and shared with instructors for improvement. x. Daily briefing by training officers and Course Director. xi. Monthly briefing by DIG to motivate improvement. xii. Apart from this, the wing officers of different wings are also holding meeting of their instructors regularly, in which all training aspects are covered. xiii. Demo classes are organized on an average once in a month. xiv. Details instructions/guide lines in writing also issued on need basis. xv. Surprise checking and on spot correction is being done by DIG and all other senior officers. Innovations /Initiative BY RTC RTC innovated many techniques to improve training: i. Instructor development program every month. ii. Selecting and rewarding best instructors every month. iii. Inter batch competitions among trainees in various events. iv. Weight training to develop muscles to new entrants. v. Cultural and talent promotion activities. vi. Special counseling for needy trainees. vii. Multimedia presentation, interactive class rooms, sound, graphics, pictures & video clipping etc. for indoor classes viii. Internet facility presently extended on payment. However a detailed proposal sent to it cell Dte. Gen. for additional computers and Net facilities ix. RTC has sufficient precise those are issued to recruits. A prceis cell is functional. x. Motivational captions are displayed in Training area. xi Lot of value addition in respect of Trg aids have been done by developing new grounds, sports grounds , procuring new approvals. xii Swimming training is being imparted by utilizing pool of district Admn. xii Weak trainees are given special training as well individual counselling. xiv Additional training Ground and outdoor play ground for basket ball, volley ball, Net ball, Hand ball and Hockey created. |
