| shikha | Re: Patna University VC Patna University was set up in the year 1917 and it worked as affiliating and inspecting body for more than 30 years. On January 2, 1952 it was changed over into an absolutely instructing - cum-private University with the regional purview over Metropolitan Patna. It is one of the most seasoned Universities in the Country. In Bihar it is the to begin with, and in the subcontinent, it is the seventh most seasoned University. The University structures are situated on the bank of River Ganges and in the second Campus i.e. Saidpur Campus.
