shikha | Re: AIPMT Tips For Chemistry Chemistry as a subject in AIPMT (All India Pre-Medical Test) needs equal and constant practice as compared to the other two subjects i.e. Physics and Biology However, to crack the section you need to adhere to some important tips and tricks. Listed below are some of them which would help you through your preparations for the subject this year: It is very important to understand each and every topic and their basic concepts; hence you must go through the NCERT book. First start with Physical Chemistry, spend time in solved examples, mug up all formulas. Once the concepts are clear, try to implement these concepts and procedures by solving max. MCQs. If you get stuck anywhere take help of teacher and again try for similar questions. Remember, practice will help you a lot so try to attempt at least 50 questions in a go. Inorganic chemistry is more about facts and little about concepts. You can take the advantage of your cramming ability in this section Important topics to study: Important chapters in Chemistry Atomic Structure, Chemical Bonding, Thermodynamics, Equilibrium, Electrochemistry and Coordination Compounds are very important chapters. These chapters should be prepared properly. For preparing Physical Chemistry, solve 5-10 numerical problems daily. Surface Chemistry, Metallurgy, Biomolecules, Polymers and Chemistry in Everyday Life are often ignored. Often 5 to 6 questions are asked from these chapters. Hence, these chapters also require proper attention. Organic Chemistry should be prepared thoroughly as each chapter is very important. In Inorganic Chemistry, p-block is very vast. If you cannot cover entire chapter, prepare at least Group 13 and 14 Elements in proper manner. Often 2-3 questions are asked from d-block elements AIPMT important dates: Issue of Notification 1st week of December 2017 Last date to submit application form without late fee 4th week of December 2017 Online correction in application form One week after the last date is over Admit card released 1st week of April 2018 AIPMT (NEET) 2018 exam date 1st week of May 2018 Declaration of result June 2018 |
