Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, [JBIMS] Mumbai is the department of management studies of the University of Mumbai. It offers two years full-time post-graduate programme- Master of Management Studies (MMS).

Eligibility:

One must be graduates in any discipline from a recognized institute with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. One must have valid scores of MAH CET or CAT, based on which one will be shortlisted for final admissions.
One who has appeared for MAH-MBA/MMS-CET/CAT (conducted by IIMs)/ GMAT (conducted by GMAC, USA)/ CMAT (Conducted by AICTE)/MAT (conducted by AIMA)/ XAT (conducted by XLRI)/ ATMA (conducted by AIMS) is considered to be eligible for admission against the All India Seats subject to the fulfilment of eligibility criteria.

Fee

The fees for a 2 year Management Degree is 2.1 lakh.
The average package of the batch is around or more than, Rs. 15 Lakhs, which means the Return on Investment (ROI) is multiple than the prestigious IIMs.
The brands and companies that visit the campus are of excellent quality and are the same companies that visit other IIMs or B-schools for placements.

Selection Procedure adopted for admission through Centralized Admission Process (CAP):

One is shortlisted on the basis of MAH CET scores. Then, shortlisted candidates need to appear for a counselling round conducted by MAH CET conducting body- DTE. The counselling process assigns management seats in the MAH CET participating B-schools on the basis of their ranks.

Each Maharashtra State candidate who appears in MAH CET will be assigned a State level Merit number on the basis of percentile/scores obtained in MAH CET.

The Non- Maharashtra state candidates who appear in CAT or MAH CET will also be assigned a State level Merit number on the basis of their scores/percentile, as mentioned in the score-cards.
