shikha | Re: Syndicate Bank UTR Number UTR numbers are 16 digit codes. UTR is Unique Transaction Reference number that is generated in RTGS system for uniquely identifying any transaction. The format of UTR is predefined and is generated by the bank initiating the transaction. For every successful NEFT transaction, your Bank will provide a UTR number (Unique Transaction Reference No.). If you do the a NEFT transaction with a branch of Syndicate Bank, the Bank will provide the UTR No. to you which can be used to track the transaction later. How do you get a UTR number? Activate your registration with HMRC here within 28 days after receiving the code. If you miss the activation date you will need to submit another form as step 1. Click Services you can add in the menu on the left, then enrol for Self-Assessment. Make sure you save your HMRC User ID, Password and UTR (case-sensitive). Don t forget the UTR number: Unless you key in a wrong account number, NEFT transactions are almost error-free. But note down the 16-digit Unique Transaction Reference number generated by your branch after a transaction |
