Re: MS GRE Full Form

The full form of GRE is Graduate Record Examinations. It is a standardised test conducted by ETS (Educational Testing Services).

ETS GRE scores are accepted by most of the top graduate level schools for masters degree programs (like the popular Master of Science degree MS in USA).

GRE Exam Fee

The application fee for GRE General Test is $205 worldwide, which would roughly translate to Rs. 13,500 to Rs. 14,500 approximately.

GRE Subject Test costs $150 worldwide, which would cost Indian students Rs. 10,000 to 11,000 approximately.

GRE Eligibility

There are no specific eligibility criteria for the GRE exam. Anyone can register for this exam, irrespective of age or qualifications

Here is the GRE paper pattern -

Section No. of Questions Duration

Analytical Writing One "Analyze an Issue" task and one "Analyze an Argument" task 30 minutes per task
(One section with two separately timed tasks)
Verbal Reasoning 20 questions per section 30 minutes per section
(Two sections)
Quantitative Reasoning 20 questions per section 35 minutes per section
(Two sections)
