However, with dedicated efforts and sincerity of Prof. P.N. Tandon and Prof. A.K. Banerji, M.Ch training program could be initiated in 1967, when Dr. Brahm Prakash joined as M.Ch. student. In the last 45 years, Department has made a long journey in training over 140 neurosurgeons. The training provided here is considered the best in the country, as evaluated by independent assessment system.
