Application Fee: The application fee is Rs. 1000/- for general and all candidates of JRF programmes (irrespective of reserved categories. ST, ST, OBC-NCL & PwD applicants are needed to pay Rs.500/- as an application fee. Students can make fee payment through net banking, debit/credit card or Bank Challan of SBI bank. Exam pattern ISI Admission Test 2018 will consist of two parts - Part 1 and Part 2. Part 1 is mandatory for all candidates. Part 2 of the test will be based on the subject/discipline selected. Exam Pattern (Part 1) This section is mandatory and will have multiple choice/Descriptive questions in Mathematics of UG level. Part 1 will carry 30 questions against a total of 120 marks. Candidates will be given 2 hours to complete this part. For Statistics/Mathematics Stream of Part 1, there may be 5 questions from Statistics & Probability. Candidates have to answer 6 questions, taking a minimum of 2 from each. Exam Pattern (Part 2) This section will carry multiple-choice or descriptive questions as per the different disciplines chosen. Candidates have to complete the part 2 in 2 hours. Part 2 will carry a total of 70 questions from 5 sections. It is mandatory for candidates to answer 1 section. For Computer Science candidates, there will be 5 sections in the part 2 paper with questions from Computer Science, Engineering Mechanics, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Thermodynamics, Engineering Drawing, Engineering and Technology of B Tech level. . For Engineering Stream, there may be 4 questions from Mathematics and 6 from Engineering & Technology.
