[B]Selection process[/B]
A) Screening for Selection Interviews is based on two alternative methods:
(a) On the basis of Online Examination:
Online Examination will be conducted in March, 2018 in each of the nine Engineering disciplines and five Science disciplines in more than forty cities spread across India.
    
[B]Travel Allowance is not paid for appearing in it.[/B]
    
Candidates who register for the Online Examination will be required to give 3(three) preferences of examination centres. Every effort will be made to allot the 3(three) preferred examination centres, and admit cards indicating date and time of examination and details of examination centre will be made available for downloading by the candidates.

(b) On the basis of GATE Score:
Candidates will be screened in for Selection Interview on the basis of a valid GATE-2017 or GATE-2018 score in the applicable GATE subject
