shikha | Re: ca vs MBA in india In todays competitive world, a post-graduate degree or a professional qualification has become the need to improve the job and salary prospects. An MBA is a post-graduate qualification and can be taken up only after you complete your graduation whereas the Chartered Accountancy (CA) is a professional degree which can be started after you finish your 12th standard. CA focuses on business environment and concepts, financial accounting and reporting, audit and attestation and regulations. MBA focuses on economics, accounting, operations and marketing along with a specialization that is chosen by the candidate as per preference Chartered accountant CA has the proficiency of working in all business fields for example they can work as an auditor, work in taxation and also general management. A Charted Accountancy requires deep knowledge of finance, taxation and accountancy and deals everything with numbers. A good understanding of accounting standards and related laws including corporate tax is necessary too. MBA, on other hand requires much broader knowledge of economy, international trade, business strategy & planning, general management and are you want to specialize into. |
