Central Connecticut State University is a regional, comprehensive public university in New Britain, Connecticut, United States. CCSU is Connecticut's oldest publicly funded university.

Japanese Minor courses

Courses numbered 0-99 are non-credit; 100-299 are lower division undergraduate; 300-499 are upper division undergraduate; 500 and above are graduate level.

A limited number of 400-level courses are eligible for graduate students to earn graduate credit, as noted in the course description and must be approved on the student's Planned Program of Study.

JAPN - Japanese


JAPN 111 Elementary Japanese I

Open only to students with one year or less of high school study. Basic sounds and structure patterns of Japanese are established through a direct audio lingual approach. CSUS Common Course.

JAPN 112 Elementary Japanese II

No credit given to students with previous credit for more advanced course work in Japanese except by permission of the department chair. A continuation of JAPN 111.

JAPN 125 Intermediate Japanese I

Continuation and review of grammar and structure. Development of reading skills.

JAPN 126 Intermediate Japanese II

Further study of grammar and structure. Readings in literary and cultural areas.

JAPN 225 Intermediate Japanese III

Designed to improve speaking skills through discussion of contemporary texts. Further study of grammar.

JAPN 226 Intermediate Japanese IV

Designed to develop current idiomatic usage and fluency of expressions. Further study of grammar.

JAPN 335 Japanese for Oral Expression I

Taught in Japanese. Designed to further develop oral proficiency through the discussion of contemporary texts.

JAPN 336 Japanese for Oral Expression II

Taught in Japanese. Designed to continue developing oral proficiency through further study of grammar and discussion of contemporary texts.

What are total minor credits required for complete BA Japanese Program of Central Connecticut State University (CCSU)? Can you provide official information brochure of BA Program that has information about total minor credits? Give me deadlines for this year admission at CCSU University.
