Through this initiative, they offer online courses and certification in various topics. NPTEL offers Better Spoken English course. Better Spoken English About the course: 1. To create comprehensible pronunciation of English 2. To create public speaking & presentation skills Pre-requisites: NIL Course layout: 1. Speaking slowly with pauses 2. Production of Speech Sounds 3. Some difficult English sounds 4. English stress system 5. Presentation: what & how much to say 6. Stage Manners turn out & body language 7. Presentation Aid: slides, handouts, etc. 8. Presenting numbers, charts, diagrams, etc. 9. Presentation Certification exam : The exam is optional for a fee. Date and Time of Exams: April 28 (Saturday) and April 29 (Sunday) : Morning session 9am to 12 noon; Exam for this course will be available in one session on both 28 and 29 April. Registration url: Announcements will be made when the registration form is open for registrations. The online registration form has to be filled and the certification exam fee needs to be paid.
