sumit | Re: AIIMS Delhi Cut Off The cut off of AIIMS MBBS will be used to determine the candidates who qualify for AIIMS MBBS Result. As per All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS), New Delhi, the AIIMS cut off marks for General Candidates is expected to be 50%, for SC/ST candidates it will be 40% while for OBC candidates, it is expected to be 45%. Until 2017, a normalization procedure was used to determine a common qualifying cut off percentile across the two shifts in which AIIMS MBBS was held. However, from 2018 onwards, it will be held in four shifts so it is expected that the normalization procedure will be used to determine the qualifying cut off percentile across four shifts instead of two. If the percentiles obtained from all four shifts are dissimilar or different, the lower of the four percentiles is expected to be the eligibility cut off in a particular category for all candidates across both shifts. Factors Affecting Cut Off: The total number of candidates appeared in the examination. Total number of Seats Total numbers of candidates qualify the examination. The difficulty level of the examination. Reservation Norms. Previous Year Admission Trends. Marking Scheme. AIIMS MBBS Qualifying Cut Off Category AIIMS MBBS Cut off Marks General 50% SC/ST (Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe) 40% OBC |
