American University's Kogod School of Business seeks candidates who strive to become global business leaders. Kogod's online programs have four start dates throughout the year: January, April, July, and October. Applications are accepted and admissions decisions are made on a rolling basis. Application Requirements One must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in order to apply. To complete application, one must submit the following: Online Application Fill u online Application Form and submit Application Fee One must submit a $100 non-refundable application fee Personal Statement One has to submit responses to two essay prompts. The first serves as personal statement. It should highlight strengths, how background has prepared to succeed in a graduate program, and reasons for pursuing degree at Kogod. The second essay addresses how your prior experience, academic and/or professional, signals readiness for graduate business study. Resume One must upload a current resume in the online application. Letters of Recommendation 2 letters of recommendation are required. One must submit professional or academic recommendations, and when possible, should include the recommendation of an immediate supervisor. Transcripts One must submit official transcripts from all institutions one has attended. Test Scores GRE and GMAT scores are not a requirement for application. One may choose to submit their test scores as part of the application. International Applicants International applicants must submit TOEFL, IELTS or PTE scores that are no more than two years old. Waiver of the English Language Proficiency requirement is possible in the following scenarios: One who has completed an undergraduate or graduate degree in a country in which the native language is English (USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Ireland only) One who has studied abroad or completed dual or joint degree programs permitted the duration of student in the English speaking country is a minimum of 3 or more years. |
