DNB PDCET Courses

Post Diploma DNB courses are offered in the following specialties:

Anesthesiology, Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy, Nuclear Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Oto-Rhino-Laryngologist, Paediatrics, Psychiatry, Radio-Diagnosis, Radiotherapy, Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases/Pulmonary Medicine, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Pathology, Immuno Hematology and Blood Transfusion and Emergency Medicine

DNB PDCET Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have passed the final exam leading to the award of PostGraduate Diploma from Indian Universities which are duly recognized as per provisions of Indian Medical Council Act 1956, Govt of India

Candidate should have completed his/her 2 years of post-diploma training by 31st December 2017

Submission of proof of having passed/Passing the Post graduate diploma final exam on or before the 31st December 2017 is an essential prerequisite

Availability of Application Form 30 Oct 2017
Last date for Online registration 27 Nov 2017
Availability of Admit Card 15 Dec 2017
Examination dates 21 Dec 2017
Declaration of Result 21 Jan 2018
Cut off date for completing Post Diploma Qualification 31 Dec 2017

DNB PDCET Exam Pattern-

The exam comprises 300 multiple choice, single correct response questions of 1 mark each in English language only as per the following indicative scheme:

1. Human Biology (Anatomy, Physiology and Biochemistry) - 50 No. of questions;

2. Applied Pathology, Microbiology and Pharmacology - 50 No. of questions;

3. Medicine and Allied Sciences - 50 No. of questions;

4. Surgery and Allied Sciences - 50 No. of questions;

5. Obstetrics & Gynaecology - 50 No. of questions;

6. Community Medicine including Basic Statistics & - 50 No. of questions
