| Saksham | Re: Vaishali to New Delhi metro route The 2.57 kilometer long Anand Vihar to Vaishali section of the Delhi Metro was opened for the general public today with the trains starting simultaneously from Anand Vihar and Vaishali Metro stations at 7:00 AM. The Vaishali station one of the largest stations of the network with an area of 15, 790 sq mts. and is more important as it will connect the large residential area of Vaishali. With the opening of this section, Dwarka Sector 21 to Vaishali will become the second longest corridor of the Delhi Metro network with a route length of approx. 46 kms after Noida which is approx. 49 kms. |
