| Arvind Kumar | Re: Food Inspector Exam Qualification Here I am giving you information about required eligibility to apply for post Food Inspector exam organized by Uttar Pradesh public service commission below Qualification: You have to passed Graduation level degree in medicine Or Have to pass a bachelor’s degree in any of the science subjects from a certified university. You must have studied chemistry as a subject in their qualifying course. Graduates in other fields like Agriculture/Pharmacy/Food technology/Dairy technology can also apply for the test. Age limit: General - 21 to 30 years with maximum of 04 attempts OBC - 21 to 33 years with maximum of 07 attempts. SC/ST - 21 to 35 years with no limits till 35 years of age. The candidates will be selected ion the basis of a written test followed by an interview. Syllabus of written exam: There are 2 papers in written exam. Paper I:- General Ability Indian History Reasoning General Studies Paper II:- Syllabus related to Science subjects.
