IITB Free Software

I have just taken admission in Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB) for B.Tech (CSE). I have come to know that there is an internal website of IITB that gives students free access to software (such as Windows OS)? Is it right? Tell me how can I get free software from that website?
