The students seeking to take admission in Catholic high school must pass one of three Catholic high school entrance exams: the HSPT, the COOP, or the TACHS.

Entrance Exam details
The HSPT: Is one of the mostly used high school tests in the country. The cognitive skills questions tend to resemble those found in IQ tests, while the achievement questions are in the traditional format.

The coop entrance exam tests students IQ level mathematical problems and conventional reading comprehension, spelling, and vocabulary questions to units on grammatical terms.

Exam pattern
Topics and approximate Duration
Verbal reasoning – word:- 15 minutes
Verbal reasoning – context:- 15 minutes
Reading and language arts- 40 minutes
Mathematics-40 minutes
Sequences- 15 minutes
Analogies – 17 minutes
Quantitative Reasoning- 15 minutes
