Mr. Singh has been awarded Padmashri by the President. Education qualification: Dr Lalji Singh did his M.Sc., and Ph.D (Cytogenetics) from Banaras Hindu University, and did his D.Sc. in 2004 He holds fellowships of several Indian and Foreign academies such as: Fellow of Indian Academy of Sciences (elected in 1989) Fellow of National Academy of Sciences (elected in 1991) Fellow of Indian National Science Academy (elected in 1993) Here I have attached a file which contains detailed information about him.
