The Information Networking Institute (INI) was established by Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) in 1989 as the nation's first research and education center devoted to information networking.

Admission

Minimum Qualifications

GPA of 3.0 or higher
Ability to program fluently in the C programming language
GRE General Test no more than five years old (Neither the GMAT nor the GRE Subject Test is accepted.)
TOEFL, no more than two years old, is required with applicants whose native language/mother tongue is not English; the IELTS are also accepted

Carnegie Mellon master's degree in the following areas:

Information Technology–Mobility (MSIT-MOB)
Information Technology–Information Security (MSIT-IS)
Information Networking (MSIN)
Information Security (MSIS)
