The IIST or Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology is a deemed university that offers many undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral and post-doctoral level programs.

These programs are available for to focus on special areas of space science, technology and applications for the interested students whose desire is to take admission in IIST.

IIST admission will be done on the basis of JEE Advance for UG courses and GATE/ UGC NET/JEST for admission to PG courses.

The programmes offered by the IIST include B.Tech, M.Tech/M.S., and PhD.

IIST B.Tech Admission:

Admission in IIST shall be on the basis of JEE (Main) and JEE (Advanced).

IIST Application Form is issued online through the web portal. Candidates first have to appear and qualify in JEE (Main), and JEE (Advanced) examinations is conducted by CBSE and IITs respectively.

Only those candidates who clear the cut off set by IIST shall be eligible for admission on basis of merit.
