Maharashtra Common Entrance Test Medical is a state level medical entrance examination which is hosted by the Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER) for the candidates seeking admissions in undergraduate medical degree courses in various Government/ Municipal Corporation, Government aided Health science institutions as well as private medical health science colleges or institutions. Engineering Eligibility Criteria Those applicants, who do wish to appear for MHT CET will have to have cleared their 10+2 via any recognized Board in India. The candidates are required to have scored a minimum of an aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The minimum marks requirement for SC/ST/OBC candidates is 45%. Medical Eligibility Criteria The very first condition is that you will have top be an Indian citizen and no candidate who belongs to Indian Origin (PIO)/ Non Resident Indian (NRI)/ overseas citizen of India (OCI) are allowed for the examination. Those of you who are appearing must be of at least 17 years prior to applying for the examination. Those of you who have finished your Higher Secondary examination/ 10+2 from a recognized university/ Board are deemed eligible. Its necessary for you to have studied PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) and English as your core subjects in order to be eligible for the examination. Exam Dates Online Registration & filling of Application Form First week of March, 2017 Schedule for Fee Acceptance at SBI Bank, through Computer Generated Challan First week of March, 2017 Issue of Admit Cards (Online) Last week of April, 2017 MHT CET 2017 Date of Examination First week of May, 2017 Declaration of Provisional MHT CET 2017 Result/Marks First week of June, 2017 Exam Pattern The total duration of the exam is 3 hours. The paper comprises of 200 multiple choice objective type questions. No marks will be deducted for any incorrect answer and 1 mark will be added for each correct answer. The structure of for MT CET is as follows: Subject Marks Duration Physics and Chemistry 50+50 = 100 marks 1 hour and 30 minutes Mathematics 100 marks 1 hour and 30 minutes Total 200 marks 3 hours |
