The Joint Admission Test for M.Sc. (JAM) is an admission test to Master of Science (M.Sc.) and other post-graduate science programs at the Indian Institutes of Technology

Eligibility

Education Qualification

At least (a) 55% marks or 6.0 CPI in a scale of 10, without rounding off, in Major/Honors and Pass in all other subjects, including Languages and Subsidiaries or (b) 60% aggregate marks or 6.5 CPI in a scale of 10, without rounding off, taking into account all subjects, including Languages and Subsidiaries, all years combined.


Age limit : there is No Age Limit for the IIT Jam Examination


Examination Pattern

The JAM Examination is conducted online and in English only. There are seven papers (objective questions) on the following subjects:

Biological Sciences (BL)
Biotechnology (BT)
Chemistry (CY)
Geology (GG)
Mathematics (MA)
Mathematical Statistics (MS)
Physics (PH)

Each paper is divided into three sections, consisting of 30 Questions
