Can you tell me about the Scholarship Scheme for students of MBA (Master in Business Administration) (Full Time) for General Category offered by Nirma University?

Scholarship Scheme for students of MBA [FT] admitted in General Category during the academic year 2013-14 and onwards offered by Nirma University is as follows:


A. Category I: Merit Based Scholarship Scheme.

First 30 students admitted in the programme in the merit order 1 to 30 among the admitted students, would be paid Rs.50, 000/- per annum as Scholarship for 1st year of the programme.
The Scholarship would be renewed with the same amount (Rs.50, 000/-) in 2nd year also provided the student obtains a minimum CGPA of 3 and the conduct of the student is good during the entire first year.


B. Category II: Merit-cum-Means Scholarship Scheme.

1. The first 30 meritorious students in the merit list of first 100 students, admitted in the programme whose parent`s income is less than Rs.2, 50,000/- per annum, would be paid Rs, 50,000/- per annum as Scholarship for 1st year of the programme.

2. Another 30 meritorious students in the merit list of first 100 students, admitted in the programme whose parent`s income is less than Rs.4, 00,000/- per annum, would be paid Rs, 25,000/- per annum as Scholarship for 1st year of the programme.

3. Another 30 meritorious students in the merit list of first 100 students, admitted in the programme whose parent`s income is less than Rs.6, 00,000/- per annum, would be paid Rs, 15,000/- per annum as Scholarship for 1st year of the programme.

The Scholarship would be renewed with the same amount (Rs.50, 000/-/Rs.25,000/- / Rs.15, 000/-) in 2nd year also provided the student obtains a minimum CGPA of 3 and the conduct of the student is good during the entire 1st year.
