BSNL JTO Fresher Salary

The Basic pay for a new or Fresher Junior Telecom Operator (JTO), now Junior Engineer (JE), in BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) is fixed on E1 (16400-40500) pay scale and initial basic pay will be 16400.

Apart from this, there is a Dearness allowances component which is added to salary. Current D.A rate is 114.80% which is revised on a quarterly basis.

Employee Provident Fund for BSNL JTO

As per Government Rules, every employee has to have an EPF account number. This account is opened by your employer.

The contribution towards the EPF is made by Employee & employer both. As per current rules, 12% of Basic Pay plus DA (here it is EPF 4227) from the employee’s salary & same amount is paid by the employer.

Hence total Rs 8454 will be deposited every month into your EPF account.
