Xavier Institute of Management (XIMB), Bhubaneshwar (XUB) has achieved the successful completion of Xuberance17 with 100% placements for the MBA (BM) batch of 2015-2017.

Placement 2017 at XIMB witnessed not only higher salaries but more recruiters making more offers across the domains.

XIMB, Xuberance 17 saw the batch of 360 candidates, participating in the placement process

102 companies participated in Xuberance 17 of which 60 were new recruiters

More than 50% increment in the number of recruiters

35% increment in the number of PPO/PPIs offered to the students

The placement 2017 reflected an upward swing in recruitment with more recruiters offering higher placement packages while the companies competed among themselves in offer of more jobs.

Average salary up-

All 360 students in MBA Business Management batch 2015-17 of XIMB have achieved 100% placement.

Beating the slowdown in placement offers, the placement season 2017 at XIMB saw a rise in average salary to Rs.13.18 lakhs from Rs.12.44 lakhs per annum in 2016.

The highest domestic salary stood at Rs. 21 Lakhs per annum.

The median annual compensation stood at Rs. 13.02 Lakhs per annum.

The average compensation for the top 50% of the batch stood at Rs. 15.47 Lakhs per annum.

The median compensation for the top 50% of the batch stood at Rs. 14.84 Lakhs per annum

Top recruiters-

The Final Recruitment process saw participation from 102 recruiters with number of new recruiters. Major recruiters like CBC, Deloitte, PwC, TCS, Godrej, Tata Steel, L&T, SBI Group, Maruti Suzuki, Bluestar, ICRA, Emami, Bajaj Auto and Idea strengthened their relationship with XIMB.
